Sunshine Lee writes in her journal while waiting for the bus to take her home from school for the day.

Thursday, November 5, 2009, Nashville, TN., 2:36 p.m., C.S.T.~

Dear Journal~

Sunshine Lee writing.  Hope this finds y'all in good health; as for me, I'm doing wonderful, especially now, since school is over for the day!  One more day to go, and it's the weekend!!!!  Wahooo!!!!

I love Saturdays; I can sleep in to noon (or even later) if I want, but that usually doesn't happen, not around my house!  LOL  Too many little kids around, and too much to do!  *sighh*  Such is life in a big family!

Last Saturday was Hallowe'en; we spent it at our church's Harvest Festival.  I had a blast!  I got so sing some, and I got to ride the rides, and hang out with my friends.  It was a most wonderful day!  I dressed up in the scariest costume of all:  as myself!  LOLOLOLOL

It's now November; in just a few short weeks it will be Thanksgiving, which can mean three things:  1.) going out to eat at Golden Corral with the family; 2.) watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade on NBC, and 3.) watching the Dallas Cowboys play.  (Hopefully they'll win like they did this past Sunday; they did good!!)

And speaking of good, our beloved Tennessee Titans finally won their first game on Sunday; they beat Baltimore!  I was soooo amused!!!!  You should have heard maman and daddy yelling; you could probably hear them around the block!  LOL  They were LOUD!!!!  LOL  It was a most exciting game!!

We also watched the World Series; the Yankees won (again!!).  Nothing new there!  LOL  I like the Yankees, but I would have liked to have seen the Philadelphia Philies take the title!  :)

On the 16th of this month, we are taking Grandpa Moliere' out to eat.  He is a Veteran; he will be able to eat free that night.  All Golden Corrals across the country are doing this; it's not just a local thing.  We've done this for the past few years, and he really enjoys himself, as do we!  :)  That's a nice service the restaurants are doing to honor our brave men and women!

I also can look forward to some pipin-hot, fresh food off the buffet; Golden Corral so happens to be one of my very favorite places to eat!  :)

Our church will be feeding the Veterans on the 11th and again on Thanksgiving Day (though we won't be there that day).  They're also feeding the homeless on Thanksgiving Day, along with the Veterans.

Speaking of church, we are practicing hard for our upcoming Christmas Cantata.  I'm in the children's choir, so we will be singing.  My sister, Ronee', will be doing her solo of "O, Holy Night", and Johnny, my brother, will be handling all the sign language; he's very good at that sort of thing.  They always do a good job, but I do  miss Johnny singing.  (He is on a ventilator; kind of hard for him to sing with that in!  He used to sing, but now he can't, which is a big bummer!  He had such a pretty singing voice!)

We have choir practice tonight, from six to eight thirty.  We will also have a special practice this coming Sunday night.

Church keeps us very busy, as you can see.

I don't mind, though; I love my church!  I have lots of friends there!

Well, the bus is here, so I will go.  I will write in here again soon.  Until then, this is Sunshine Lee signing off; take care and God bless!  Talk to you again another day!

~Love, your friend in Tennessee, Sunshine Lee Sandusky.  :D
