Sydney, Australia, 22 February, 2012 (afternoon)~
G'day from Down Under! Just put Guinivere Abigail down for her nap, so I have some time to kill. Our other child, Trystan Robert, who is now 2 1/2, is also napping.
T'is Tottie Ruth Brighton writing. Hope this finds y'all well. We are doin'; tryin' to survive this bloody heat! We've also had some nasty storms roll through here, but thankful, not too terribly much in the way of damage or flooding (at least where I'm at, that is).
More storms forecast later, which will mean one thing: me hoon of a husband will be tryin' to capture lightning on film. When storms or lightning come, there he is, right in the middle of it, trying to get that elusive great shot that will hopefully bring in some extra income! I swear he has more marbles loose in his skull!
Sorry if I haven't written in a while: been busy rearin' our two kids. Have two children now: Trystan Robert, who is now a big, strappin' tot, with bright-red curly hair and big, blue eyes (looks just like his pop, he does) nad our new daughter, Gwinivere Abigail, who was born on Chrissie Day of this past year. She is as bald as a rock but has eyes we think will be green. She looks more like me (poor child!).
Gwin is beautiful (at least to Bobbo). She's not bad lookin', as far as infants go, but I don't think I'm pretty. Never have liked how I looked.
So while most blokes get pressies for Chrissie, I get a baby girl. Not complainin', though: at least Gwinnie's healthy, with ten little pink fingers and toes, so that is a huge answer to prayer right there!
Gwinnie is now going on three months old and is growing so bloody fast! I wish I could keep her newborn size forever!
Bobbo's folks love her so much: they already have her spoiled. You should have seen all the loot the li'l nipper got for Chrissie! Goodness sakes!
I have me bad days as well as good. Some days me stump really talks garbage to me: some days the pain is so intense I think I'm gonna go mad out of me bloody skull and other days, I can function like a normal human being. Today is a good day. I pray that continues.
Well, I hear Gwin squeaking again, so I'd best see if she is okay. I will write in here again soon; sorry it's been so bloody long! Take care and God bless!
~Love from Down Under, your friend, Tottie Ruth Brighton. :)
