The creation of these quality books
Mocco Wollert is an accessible poet and author with 5 other published books. Glenise Clelland is a prize winning visual artist with a 30 year exhibition history.
When a friend and gallery curator introduced them and suggested they could work together on a series of books combining their individual styles and talent they knew at once that this would be a special relationship. Each respected the other and so their professional relationship was born of mutual trust and respect.
With the support of their husbands they spent 2 years sorting the huge volume of Mocco's emotive poems and marrying them with Glenise's expressive images. Living 2 hours appart they met infrequently but did an enormous ammount of work on the computer sending images and poems.
Then came the difficult task of finding a publisher who believed in their ideas. Interactive Publications took that chance and gave these two 'old ladies' the opportunity to share their books with a wider public.
Their books are now selling well and are bought for gifts or as books to cherish and read again and again.
