Candice was born and raised in Montreal, where she still lives with her husband of 40 years. She has one daughter and three exceptional granddaughters.

As an avid reader all her life, she hopes to encourage children to enjoy books as much as she does.

She has been writing for many years but never took herself seriously until now; probably because the golden years have finally given her the freedom to do so.

Her first novel, “Mean Mandy”, is a quick read, just brief enough to hold a young teen's attention.  This book is long on content, but short on fluff.  This is the perfect transition novel for youngsters who have just graduated from picture books.  It’s a great story about morals, and teaches youngsters not to judge a book by its cover.  You can find it at Lulu, with a brief preview, and at Amazon:

She is currently working on a second novel for teens titled "A Silent Voice" and hopes to release it soon.  This book is the first-hand account of a young girl's challenging first-time experience in the frightening world of fostering.

As a former foster mother for over ten years, it seems only natural Candice would want to write about children for children.  Fostering is a mysterious world to many people and, hopefully, this new novel will open a few eyes.  She is hoping to evolve this book into a series.  For updates and news, please visit her website:
