I was influenced early by my teachers in the Constantine, Michigan School System. Having Dyslexia made reading and writing a challenge, but my teachers' encouragement helped me through my struggles. My mother also spent hours patiently tutoring me. I love reading all genres, but some of my favorites are Farley Mowat, Toni Morrison, Antonya Nelson, Stephen King, Anne Rice and Nora Roberts. Also, Cheryl Kaye Tardif is a writer I'm certain we will be hearing more about since her wonderful novel 'Whale Song' is being considered for a movie.

My first novel 'Souls of the North Wind' is a fast-paced Inuit Adventure set on the Canadian Tundra. It is a suspensful, coming of age story focused on two young Ihalmiut boys and sure to get the adrenaline going no matter what age the reader is! The novel is available on Amazon.com, through bookstores or you can buy a signed copy directly from me using the address listed below.
I'm busy writing the sequel to 'Souls of the North Wind'. I'm also working on a young adult/adult novel loosely based on the ancient Anasazi culture which I hope to have out by July of 2007.
