I was influenced early by my teachers in the Constantine, Michigan School System.  Having great teachers always helps and we don't thank them enough. My mother also spent hours patiently tutoring me. I love reading all genres, but some of my favorites are Farley Mowat, Toni Morrison, Antonya Nelson, Stephen King, Anne Rice and Nora Roberts. Also, Cheryl Kaye Tardif is a writer I'm certain we will be hearing more about since her wonderful novel 'Whale Song' is being considered for a movie. My short stories are now posted on Amazon. My first novel 'Souls of the North Wind' is a fast-paced Inuit Adventure set on the Canadian Tundra. It is a thrilling coming-of-age story focused on two young Ihalmiut boys.
