Reading is like standing on the shoulders of giants. Being propelled up without having to do the climb yourself. Getting the insight without the fight. Coming out wiser easier. Writing is - being the giant. Living the experiences, recording them and sharing them so others may benefit from them. My themes are very personal experiences which I make public. Many times books have pointed the way to me. The choice of becoming a writer, well because someone else had done it brilliantly and motivated me to do likewise. We each have a tale to tell. Let's tell them briliantly.

Writing and publishing the book THE EYE OF THE HURRICANE. The story of a young twenty one year old with herpes going against her odds to find a man who will accept her with a sexually transmitted disease. This is my own true story, a story of struggle and hope to help anyone else who perhaps are walking the same path I did ten years ago. It reads like a novel because in some ways that's just how our lives flow. And beside it's a lighter more engaging read than the other (albeit necessary) book available on the theme.

I've also enjoyed tremendously the entire creative process of my newest book HSV HEROES SAINTS AND VILLAINS - a walk through this socially transmitted disease by the real experts. Sifting through all the life stories, organizing them in a way which traces the steps one goes through from contracting herpes to freedom from outbreas. Designing the book cover and publishing it. No other book has come quite so close in the level of accomplishment I feel compiling and editing this book. Then again I probably feel this way about each of my babies till the feeling and novelty wears off.
