Chuck Kelly was born in Dallas, Texas, raised in Anadarko, Oklahoma, attended Oklahoma University, traveled some and then became an entertainer and writer.

Chuck played trombone with Ray McKinley, Dizzy Gillespie and other bands. He quit playing to become a group singer and sang with the Modernaires with Paula Kelly and other vocal groups. He became a studio singer where he did many recordings, television shows, and motion picture sound tracks. Chuck was on the Red Skelton Show for 5 1/2 years, Danny Kaye Show 2 years and did several TV specials that included Andy Griffith, Danny Thomas, etc. Chuck sang on motion picture tracks "Sweet Charity," 'Hello Dolly," "Peter Gunn," Darling Lilly," 'Star," etc.
Chuck has written for the National Enquirer, International Musician, Playboy, Ebony, Eros, Society of Singers Newsletter, etc.
Chuck was technical writer for "The Alchemy of Intelligence," technical editor for "Pharmacology, Biology, and Clinical Applications of Androgens," for Harbor-UCLA Medical Research Center. He has written technical material for Hughes Aircraft Company, Boeing, etc.
He wrote the novelization for the screenplay "Fowl Play" about cockfighting in the Philippines that starred Nancy Kwan. He has had two screenplays optioned.
Chuck has a Master's Degree in Communication and Organizational Theory from Sierra University. He is also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.

Chuck has written five books that are published by Synergebooks.com: A Western novel "Sammy" about a black man who wants to become a cowboy after the Civil War, but through circumstances
becomes a gunfighter. A Mystery novel "Silent Obsession" about a Washington DC private detective who also moonlights for the CIA.
Three books in the children's/young adult Trilogy: "Legend of Otherland - Evil Does Exist" (accepted for audio formatting for remedial reading students) about a planet not too far from planet earth that could exist in your imagination, "Legend of Otherland - Adventure Underground" finds Bunker taken prisoner by a one-inch tall man who takes him to the center of Otherland to defend the Floogleboppers against the Bargolians. "Legend of Otherland - Adventure in Space" finds Bunker and Gittel in Steven Charles' new spaceship as stowaways. "Legend of Otherland - Evil Does Exist" and "Legend of Otherland - Adventure Underground" have also been published in paperback by Publish America, Inc. Chuck has adapted his five novels for the screen and the screenplays are being represented by Alex Sullivan of The Leo Media & Entertainment Group of London.
