I am 59 and I have been very fortunate to work with children and adults with severe disabilties for over 30 years.I live in California and have had the privledge of advocating for people who have mental illness for many years. I facilitate spiritual retreats using music, dance, art, and sharing. My mother is 95 and going strong.I tend to try things that I have never done before so my life is really an adventure. For me it is all about sharing the love of Jesus, even though I am very human and make mistakes. I try and have respect for everyone I meet because I see them as beloved sisters and brothers of God.I have much to learn about people and growing in my faith, however I think I have learned some things that I share in Joyful Surrender. I have written as a hobby for 20 years I have a book published called Joyful Surrender. It tells of how I went from feeling I had no purpose and being sexually abused to a very joyful life ,and decided to take vows to help me stay focused on my commitment to follow God. It tells of the steps that helped me make the vows. It starts with being a seeker, follower ,then sister/brother of Jesus. The reviews from people who have read it have been very good. One woman was almost crying and said everyone should read this book.I am very excited about it. I had a wonderful review from www.womensselfesteem.com,.. You can see the interview and review from womens self esteem on my reviews link.I also have a blog where I give a spiritual thought for the day. You might like to check it out. You can order Joyfull Surrender from this website or you can order it from my web site which is www.cindytuttle.com or www.amazon.com. I have two childrens books that I am looking for publishers for.Come visit my web site and leave a message on my e-mail!Check out my blogs and other things on my site! One blog tells of a spiritual retreat I will be facilitating. Thank you so much for reading about me and my book. I have much I would love to share, and my hope is that Joyful Surrender will help you with your own spiritual path.I have just started writing poetry, which I fast becoming in love with. Please check out my poems and see what you think. I try to have some message of hope of some kind in them.I am looking for a traditional publisher for them. I know that is a huge challenge, but I tend to be persistant and patient at the same time. I also try and be very positive.
