I started writing around 10 years old, mostly sarcastic little surveys. I wrote short stories throughout junior high school, and attempted to write novels in high school. Had a short story published through my Creative Writing class called Role Reversal. Submitted short stories to contests like the Star Trek New Worlds and the L. Ron Hubbard Writer's of the Future contest.
My current novel, "Don't Mess With Earth" was started right after publishing "Out of Time" in February, 2008 and was finished in December, 2008.
I'm 35 years old, single, currently a senior at Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, TX pursuing a BA in English. Hoping I can get get a good career doing proofreading, editing, technical writing, or anything in written communications. Currently work for the public library as a library assistant.
I have written a family newspaper of sorts. My mom had organized a family reunion and had me write about the events we were going to do and then wanted me to create a newsletter about the goings-on on her side of the family. It lasted about 2 issues and nobody seemed to care, so she had me stop. Then, I tried a newsletter for my church college & career class, nobody seemed interested in it continuing, so I dropped it. I would really like to continue doing projects like that, I enjoy writing.
