A poor aptitude for math combined with a love of live music brought me to writing. Not wanting to take any math classes, I majored in journalism at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Shortly after graduating I saw a fellow alumni at a B.B. King concert taking notes. I discovered he was writing a review for a local entertainment weekly and found out how I too could get free concert tickets. Many years and many reviews later I had decided freelance writing was the perfect gig for me. I've never stopped observing, learning, and writing. 

I am a freelance author of more than 100 published works and have experience in all types of non-fiction writing and editing. I have been published in several local and national magazines, including Catholic Digest, Dog Fancy, Home Cooking and Long-Term Care Interface. Over 50 corporations have come to me for written promotional materials, including Bonne Bell Cosmetics and Forest City Land Group. I also have experience writing for physicians and the medical community, including health-related grant proposals, through my work for Case Western Reserve University's Medical School, Pro ED COMMUNICATIONS, Inc., the American Diabetes Association and Southwest General Health Center. I live in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, with my husband, 8-year old son and dog. I love to travel, downhill and cross-country ski, boat, waterski, hike and WRITE!
