Pennies on the Tracks by Danny Lee Ingram
Dangling from a rope in an Appalachian cave or trembling from vertigo on a canyon ledge, wrestling a chain-scarred boulder or arguing with a wily Leprechaun, Ingram's short story characters bring to life humor, challenge, regret, and hope. After decades of procrastination, a field worker finally decides to attend his high school reunion. Another character seeks understanding of a journey into the ...

Glass Cuts the Shadow by Danny Lee Ingram
Images prevail in this book of poems, poems that stimulate the senses and range from haiku to blank verse to free verse on the cutting edge. Break-ups, reality checks, and tongue-in-cheek humor all present sharp edges that cut through the mask, pierce the skin, or tickle the fancy....

Thank you for your interest in Taylors Ridge Audiobook Recording for your book or manuscript. I record your work using my voice, the product of over three decades of performance as a singer/musician, disc jockey, emcee, actor, and English professor. Just click on one of the samples above.

Taylors Ridge Audiobook Recording produces master CDs for clients that clients can copy via their own choice of method. A list of reproduction companies is at the end of this page.

For those who wish their audiobook to be on their MP3 player quicker (iPods and such), I will upload your entire book to YouSendIt.com, and you will receive an e-mail from them of how to download the book to your computer. Then you can upload it to your MP3 player. (Dialup NOT recommended!) If you choose this method, no physical CDs will be mailed to you. YouSendIt.com is a company that transfers files that are too large for e-mailing or fitting onto one CD.

I also record shorter works (short stories, poems, etc.) in addition to entire books. If you want your special writing recorded on CD by a professional, now's your chance.

I narrate in a literary fashion, such as does George Guidall and others (check your library), so this is NOT a radio play with various voices and sound effects. If you want to pay thousands for such, that's your decision. Also, if you want to pay thousands for the same as I produce, check the internet as well.

The Taylors Ridge Audiobook Recording fee is easy to calculate:
1 cent per word, using Microsoft Word's "Word Count."

A 60,000 word book would be $600 total.

However, consider that selling only 30 copies of this audiobook at $20 each would pay for its recording!

When the audiobook is completed, you will owe NO royalties to Taylors Ridge Audiobook Recording OR to me, NOTHING, ZIP! All rights to your audiobook will belong to YOU to use as you wish!

Partial payments are acceptable for books only. Books are recorded in whole chapters to keep CDA (CD player/audio) tracks properly separated.

For each $50 or more paid, AND if at least one chapter is paid for, a progress CD with one or more whole chapters will be mailed to the client. Any leftover funds will be applied to the next payment if the next payment is made within one month of the previous payment.

I accept no payments under $50 because of setup, recording, engineering, account tracking, and shipping, so to benefit fully, attempt to get your smaller works near 5,000 words: collected poems, short stories, etc. However, ANY size WORK, SECTION, or CHAPTER can be recorded.

U.S. payments:
PayPal (preferred)
United States Post Office money order (no generic money orders)
Checks (U.S. only) to "Taylors Ridge Audiobook Recording." (Expect delays for check clearing.)
I PAY SHIPPING AND CD COSTS.

NON-U.S. payments:
PayPal ONLY. ADD $10 FOR NON-U.S. SHIPPING.

PayPal accepts Visa, Mastercard, etc.

To avoid elimination or delay of your project, a minimum payment is required to arrive by the same date on the following month. Re-starting a project may take considerable time, depending upon how many projects are active.

Each payment is its own contract, and neither party is obligated to continue beyond fulfillment of that particular payment.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE
1. The calculated recorded words per submission and payment on CDs in MP3 (computer/iPod) OR CDA Audio (CD player) format--your choice.
2. When the project is completely finished, you receive all SECTIONS combined as one project. An average audiobook usually takes several CDs each.

In total, you will receive TWO FULL SETS of your audiobook.

If your work is a short work, you will receive TWO CD copies of the work.

Notice: you or your mass producer creates your sleeves and labels for your CD copies.

For reproduction of copies of your audiobook master, Taylors Ridge Audiobook Recording endorses

www.Lulu.com
www.CDBaby.com
or Do-It-Yourself (the least expensive method).
