I have been influenced through my love of history,especially how it affected womyn and minorities. I attempt to take my readers into the personal lives of the interesting characters I write about. My interests in Majik, abusive relationships, midwifery, alternate sexualities, womyn's spirituality, and the disease of alcoholism all come through in my original works of romantic historical fiction.

Mortal Shortcomings by Darkstar was released in August 2008 published by Saga Books. It is a historical romance set in Pagan Ancient Rome. In The Shadow Of The Moon by Darkstar is scheduled for release in February 2009 published by Whiskey Creek Press as a torrid romance/fantasy. It is set in The Burning Times in England 1525. I think you will become absorbed in the exciting relationship between Letti Marsham, a young Pagan healer, and Wulfgaer, her shape-shifting Shaman lover. If you base your views on the book as a romance, you will be irritated, so read this as a work of fiction and enjoy. The characters lack empathy, but are fascinating, and I could not wait to see what they would come up with next. Behaviors are based on self-centered ideologies that would make a two-year old embarrassed, but I was reading as fast as I could to get to the next smarmy act. The sex, while well written, is for the most part, part of the big “how does this help me” picture. Even the one couple who are really in love lack sympathy, but I love reading about them. The backdrop was ancient Rome and this fit in well with the plot. The dialogue works well and kept me as shocked as the strange thoughts of the characters.
