D. A. Blankinship was born in Fall River MA, and grew up in Newport RI, White Sands NM, Honolulu HI, Charleston SC, and Sedan, KS. He served in the Navy, attended universities, and earned degrees in psychology and counseling. He worked in clinical and research psychology, and in higher education. He has more than 50 pubs and talks at the national and international level. He is ceo of The Praxis Ethiopia Foundation.
