"There are monsters everywhere. You just have to know where to look"

Background Information

David E. Greske was born in Red Wing, Minnesota and raised in rural Wisconsin. When he wasn’t milking the cows or feeding the chicken, he spent his youth writing short stories and watching the creature features on Saturday afternoons. His earliest writing endeavor was a "rip-off' of the supernatural soap opera, Dark Shadows. In high school he was a member of the Writer’s Club that put out a yearly publication of student works. He once wrote a screenplay as a class project for one of his English courses. The screenplay was later filmed for another class’ final project. After high school he attended the University at River Falls, Wisconsin and was involved with the campus newspaper and a reqular contributor to the university’s literary magazine. "Making Make-believe Believable" an article that expessed his opinion about the importance of creating realistic settings in an unrealistic world, appeared in the on-line magazine, Wicked Karnival.
