I have been a freelance journalist and humor columnist for more than a decade--but I've been a writer for most of my life. Many years passed before I gained the self-confidence to seek publication.
My first book, Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road: Humorous Views on Love, Lust, and Lawn Care (Brown Books Publishing Group) was released in June 2006. The book has been featured on WFAA (an ABC affiliate) Good Morning Texas and other TV and radio programs.
Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road was released in abridged audio format (2 CD set) in November 2007.
Currently, I'm working on a comedy screenplay and taking acting classes. You can read more about my late-in-life acting adventures by visiting my blog (link below).
Accomplishments: My columns, essays, and articles have been featured in The Dallas Morning News, The Washington Post, Miami Herald, Road & Travel Magazine, America's Funniest Humor (an anthology published by HumorPress), and many other publications.
