I grew up reading books. We lived in the middle of nowhere on a ranch with none of the niceities of city living. When we weren't roaming the hills playing cowboys and indians I was piled up on the bed reading Nancy Drew or Ellery Queen Mysteries. My grandfather was a newspaper man and the summers I spent with them involved working at the newspaper. You might say there's a little printers ink in my blood. From the time I read Zane Greys "Betty Zane" I have wanted to be a writer so here I am.

Starting out late in life the only award I have is the reward and satisfaction of sharing what I write with a few friends and fellow writers. If I can bring pleasure in reading to one person that is what I strive for.

At last it is published! "Once Upon A Time Out West", a book of short stories has been published by Xlibris and is available in their bookstore and will soon be in Amazon and Barns& Noble's book list. My Mystery "Harry Mann in the Tangled Web" is to be published by Whiskey Creek Press.Check them out!
