Growing up I adored Emily Dickinson who claims to have never completed a poem. As an adult I have been inspired by many song writers.. Matchbox 20/Rob Thomas.. The Eagles...Savage Gardens.. and many many more.

Words to live by..
I started writing when I was ten years old.
Writing was my way of venting or putting into words what I dared not say out loud.
I considered this my personal "Poetic Diary" nothing more.
It wasn't until I became an adult that I realized people liked reading my Diary.
Unfortunately much of it is depressing..
I guess most people write when they are trying to sort out the troubles in their lives.
When we are happy we are to busy being happy to think to sit down and put our happiness into words..
This is something I will be working on.

Graduated from ECA at the age of sixteen. Went on to Stout University. Graduated nursing in Florida. Continued with a Counseling certificate counseling teens. Manage a home business. Recently received my real estate license. Have continued to write articles and small pieces for local and domestic magazines.

Current Projects- I am working with a band writing lyrics. I am working on compiling a poetry book entitled "Journey Through Shadows." I am looking forward to my first novel being published entitled "Breaking The Ivory Spirit"
