Early motivations include Flaubert, Steinbeck, and Bello for prose and Jerome Kern, Sammy Cahn, and Johnny Mercer for music and lyrics. Enjoys creating music to accompany words and poems (has done so professionally for 30 years). Produces records on select artists. Publishes and promotes music.
