Growing up in New Orleans is an adventure. My parents loved life and taught me to try everything once; be it meeting people, some type of sport, or a new food. Therefore I embraced life, and my only great fear is that of not giving my best and the regrets that may ensue. We lost our home in a flood and at five years old, I learned that life throws curves and one had better learn to readjust quickly. I also learned that doing this with a sense of humor makes it a whole lot more fun.
Finished growing up in North Carolina, where most of my friends like to stay put. For them and my family it will always hold a special place in my heart.
I lived in California for ten years and have felt at home more there than any other place. The sun, the surf, the fascinating people from all over the world never stop thrilling me.
I love all types of music and will read almost anything. Favorite authors include John Steinbeck, Maya Angelou, Stephen King (Not becuase of the horror, but because he writes so well),Larry Niven.
I have done it all! I have worked as an acting coach, counslor, bartender, car rental sales person, secretary, technical writer, freelance writer, actress, and had two plays produced.
Birth Place: New Orleans, LA USA
Accomplishments: B.A. in English, AAS in Criminal Justice, 3.96 GPA, Editor and Producer certification through Regional Occupational Programs, numerous scholastic awards, including best regional newsltter editor award in 1995. Received various workplace awards including both Departmental Star and Corporate Ace awards while working on Y2K Project.
A tree hugger, I have done a lot of volunteer stuff like picked up trash and rallied for recycling and the well-being of animals, and have been the only female member of the Board of Directors for Prison Possiblilities, an outfit that puts educational programs in prisons. I am most proud of those things, more than anything I ever achieved on the corporate merry-go-round.
