Fran Baker is a multi-published author whose novels have been translated into more than twenty languages.
Her trade paperback novel ONCE A WARRIOR was released to stellar reviews in Publishers Weekly, in other print magazines and on the Internet. In 1998, she founded her own small press, Delphi Books, named for the Oracle of Delphi who was reputed to have been a woman over the age of fifty. (Note that neither the Oracle nor Fran are tellin' how far over!) Delphi Books currently has three titles, all well-reviewed, in print.
Fran is a member of Novelists, Inc., The Authors Studio, SPAN, and the Authors Guild. She recently completed a new romantic comedy, ROMEO, ROMEO, for release in the summer of 2004. Currently she is rewriting a romantic suspense novel with the working title SHARK BAIT. Three of her Loveswept novels - THE LADY AND THE CHAMP, SAN ANTONIO ROSE and KING OF THE MOUNTAIN - have been released in large print by Thorndike Press. Fran encourages people to ask for them at their local public library.

September 2003, Delphi Books released ATOMIC RENAISSANCE: WOMEN MYSTERY WRITERS OF THE 1940s AND 1950s by Jeffrey Marks.
