Frank's real job is that of Hospice Clinical Manager for a large midwestern health system. With his eclectic background, that has included stints as an oncology educator, emergency room nurse in an inner-city trauma center, a chief deputy coroner, coal miner, bartender, and as a paratrooper stationed in Europe, Frank has had the opportunity to meet all sorts of folks, from all sorts of places, who have done all sorts of things. Hopefully, this has broadened his perspective as a writer.

Frank has two adult daughters; Andrea and Lindsay, who live in Portland, Oregon, and one granddaughter, Madalyn, who also lives in Portland, but would live in Ohio with Frank and his wife Kitty, if only he could figure out a way to make that happen.

Frank and Kitty live in a log cabin in the woods of North Central Ohio and have two dogs; Gracie, a pleasantly plump Yellow Labrador, and Hannah, a two year old, 160 pound Newfoundland, who has absolutely no understanding of personal space.

Thanks to all of you who have visited my web page, and I hope you enjoy that which I have written.

His second novel, Remedies of Choice, was published by Publish America in July of 2004. Remedies features several of the lesser characters that have been introduced in Hearts of Gold.
