Sharing my life in simple poems

Background Information

I cannot really say how I started writing poetry. Being a shy person, whenever I felt some emotions inside of me, I expressed my feelings on paper and it felt good! I find it difficult to write poems on demand, I just have a feeling or a strong emotion from inside and I express it on paper. At the time I was making a choice of career, I did not really think I felt like a writer or a poet. Writing poetry was just a hobby which I did not take serious. I remember I was the only student in the science class who did Literature in English but that was because I was scared of Geography! Actually if I had had some guidance and counseling, I might have gone for the Arts. My choice of veterinary medicine was purely romantic! To look after cats! But today, I feel fulfilled as a poet and being a veterinarian has helped me to be ‘clinical’ about my poems. Talking to sick animals can be serious poetry! Generally, inspiration comes to me from the desire to share all of life and to assist people to grow and be themselves. My signature is Sharing my Life in Simple Poems. The desire to connect to people inspires me to write very simple poems that will assist my readers to see things in another light and be encouraged or just to enjoy the feel of the poems. I really have no right to write except I am plain and open.
