F. William (Bill) Broome is a writer striving to become recognized as a promising poet. His works are often said to be jewels in life's treasure trove; works that appeal to teens through full maturity.

Bill, as he prefers, is a native of Atlanta, where he was educated, and developed a drive to succeed. A loyal and realistic American, he has served in the US Air Force, and is proud of having done purposefully community work for years.

First published with his memoirs, "A Will Of My Own," in 2000, the 300 page volume is an available model for those wanting to write a life story. His first book of poems, "Kicking Leaves Barefoot," 2003, is a skillful spread of 100 poems showing his noted humor about love and a need for being loved.

For over a decade he has lived in the beautiful college town of Dahlonega, among the majestic green-to-colorful mountains of north Georgia, USA.

Bill Broome's second book of free verse was published September, 2005. This book is, WINDMILLS BEYOND LA MANCHA, offering 80 poems along the lines of determined frustration of Don Quixote's exciting life. Buy it at AD, Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble. Even better - this book, and Bill's new volumbe of poems, "Ageless And Cool," may be autographed by the author at 147 Elbert Gaddis Rd., Dahlonega, GA 30533, for $15 each-postage included.
