Originally from Kannapolis North Carolina,
Georgia M. McDowell is a Mount Vernon, N.Y. resident.
Currently, she is the head of the "Ministry of music" under Pastor E. Usher at the Mount Vernon Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, where she sings the songs she has written.
Georgia is a (Composer, songwriter, poet, author, and artist). She is a creator and designer of Q.M.B. bags.

Ms. McDowell has written a thought-provoking, and exciting book titled
"The Bravest tear from the prettiest eye" and several poetry books; all of which are not yet published. She was also an assistant instructor of dance, for Akosua African dance and drum troupe for eight years.
The troupe's founder and director was the late
Mrs. Floretta Rush. Mrs. Rush studied the art of dance
under dancer, and choreographer Katherine Dunham.
