I am the son of Holocaust survivors who became a darvish of the Nimatullahi Sufi Order in 1992, I have an MA in Philosophy from DePaul University in Chicago, published Fantastic Films magazine from 1977-1985, and worked on such varied magazines as Hustler and Human Rights magazine (for the ABA).
Many writing influences, and one life influence, the Sufi path of Love.

Master of the Jinn has been translated and published in Russia, Turkey, and Indonesia. It is now being translated into Spanish, German, Japanese, Lithuanian, Urdu and Farsi.
