Wrote the column "Wings Over Jersey" for the Sunday Star-Ledger (Newark, NJ) from June 9, 1963 to Dec. 30 2001.  Contributed hundreds of articles to aviation magazines.  Published the book, "Adventures in Flying in 2997"  . Commercial pilot with instrument, glider ,and single-engine seaplane ratings

Winner of a half dozen national writing and journalism awards, three from the National Business Aviation Association, two from the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, one from the National Aviation Trades Association and one from Aviation/Space Writers Association, plus seeral dozen local awards and citations including a citation from he New Jersey State Legislature. Inducted into the New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame in 1986,
