J. M. Humperjohn is the pen name I use on occasion. This is one of those occasions.
I enjoy writing fiction and poetry. My latest work, a work of historical fiction, is the six-book epic poem Toishan that chronicles at key points in time the tribulations, ethnic ostracism and, most importantly, the contributions of the Chinese men and women who built the American railroads.
While I have been writing over a period of many years, my first book will go live at the end of April 2008. Because it is a "self publish" effort, it will be offered on an especially designed Web site to promote it and the works of other self-published authors. (www.literarymastersinc.com)
You can read more about Toishan: Book One "In Words and Dreams and Song" at Literary Masters, Inc. If you decide to purchase Book One you will quickly recognize that my favorite authors are John Steinbeck and Bill Bryson. Interesting combination, huh?
Enjoy,
J.M. Humperjohn
