I'm just an everyday guy: taking every day as it comes; working hard and striving to get by; trying to help my children, my family, my friends, and many strangers along the way.
Having suffered the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, I have come to a place in my life that is more calm and more peaceful. We are all on this earth to help one another. Each soul is on its own journey. Therefore, I am doing my best to share the lessons I have learned, hoping that it may save others from unnecessary woes.
Charles Dickens was an author I've always loved reading. I used to read Ogden Nash as a young boy and am drawn to the profundity of Robert Frost's works.

Accomplishments
|
|
My children are my greatest achievement.
Awarded two Navy Achievement Medals while serving as an officer in the United States Navy.
Otherwise, I do not think my awards are anything worth noting; that is, unless you really care about the ones I received in elementary school.
Alas, I have no certifications—but, quite frankly, I’d rather NOT be certifiably insane.

Additional Information

I've been writing for years, but this is the first time I have actually been published [Dec, 2007]. Seeing as how the writing of this book stalled for over two years, it is a wonderful thing to finally see it in print.
