J.C. Matthews is the founder and Senior Pastor of the multi-cultural non-denominational Dunamis Life Ministries of Plano, Texas. Pastor Matthews is known for his love of God's Word, unusual wisdom, passion for the Kingdom of God and gift for practically applying scripture to everyday life.     

Pastor Matthews is a sought after inspirational speaker and has authored several books. His article, devotionals and editorials are often featured on Streamingfaith.com and referenced by various other ministry organizations.

Prior to founding Dunamis Life Ministries, J.C. earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While attending law school, J.C. worked for the world's leader in alternate dispute resolution. While working full-time he earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree. While a student in law school, J.C. was twice a recipient of the prestigious "Who's Who Among American Law Students" Award in recognition for his outstanding study of law. He was also subsequently honored by the General Assembly of the Ohio State Senate as an Urban All-American.
