Accomplishments: I fell in love with writing during my early teens and a dream rose out of the dust of my pencil erasures as I penned my first poems and stories.

I attended schools and colleges in Florida, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Reading Instruction. I taught elementary school for twenty-six years, serving all grade levels, as well as teaching English to speakers of other languages (ESOL), Coordinating a Language Arts Program for students at-risk and teaching them through a Whole Language Approach. I was the editor for the school paper for several terms

With the demands on students to demonstrate proficiency in writing on State Assessment Tests, my favorite subject was teaching creative writing. My instruction with students kept my own joy of writing alive and active. Then, following early retirement, I nurtured my dream of writing.

"Wall of Color" was my first published work, which was followed by "Conquered Heart", "When Justice is Served", "Impending Danger", 'Desperate Choices', and 'Violent Visions of Murder'. My next book, "Dark Depths of Love" will soon be released

Wall of Color by Jeanette Cooper
Stunning Rosemarie Delrio should have wanted for nothing; yet, judged as a misfit and an outcast by the society from whom she carves acceptance, she is the epitome of loneness and need. Neither white, nor Negro, but a mixture of both, not even the early lessons learned from discrimination and racial slurs can toughen the sensitivity to living a life of rejection. Born as the offspring of two ethni...

Desperate Choices
Desperate Choices is an emotionally packed drama filled with a young woman’s powerful need to be completely free of an intolerable relationship with a dangerous man who keeps her so closely guarded as to render her a prisoner. Nothing but a daring escape will free her from her bondage. With the deadly threat of his retaliation hanging over her head and marring the near perfect paradise eventually found with Michael Matheson, Rochelle knows there are only two things that will stop Tobias’s domination and pursuit of her—her death or his.

Impending Danger
Impending Danger is a tale of peril, romance and passion in a suspenseful love story that will warm your heart and keep you guessing the outcome right to the end. Young Gabrielle Hampshire longs to discover who she is after witnessing a brutal murder and suffering retrograde amnesia. Life presents Gabrielle with dangerous challenges when the killers, fearing she will identify them, try to kill her. Falling in love with Jonathan Briercliff invites formidable conflicts in a suspenseful love story that will keep you reading for more.

Violent Visions of Murder
Violent Visions of Murder is an intense story that will keep you turning pages. Brianna Taylor, born a psychic, sets out to solve a thirty-year mystery involving her brother’s dead twin, whose family believes he is not their blood child and was switched at birth. Her search for answers draws her into the lives of three brothers, Preston Marlowe, a prominent businessman, Robert who is retarded, and Donald, a drifter, all under suspicion of murder. When Brianna falls in love with Preston Marlowe, the eldest brother, wanting to prove his innocence she teams up with Investigator David Sherman and uses her psychic skills to ferret out the identity of the real killer.
