Being a member of AuthorsDen has been and continues to be an exciting experience. I've met many wonderful writers who are motivating and supportive. At AuthorsDen I am able to share my poems, books, news, and articles and receive feedback from other writers--always in a very positive manner.
For all these reasons, I endorse AuthorsDen as a wonderful place for authors and aspiring writers to share and enjoy literature and friendships with others.
Accomplishments: I fell in love with writing during my early teens and a dream rose out of the dust of my pencil erasures as I penned my first poems and stories.
I attended schools and colleges in Florida, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Reading Instruction. I taught elementary school for twenty-six years, serving all grade levels, as well as teaching English to speakers of other languages (ESOL), Coordinating a Language Arts Program for students at-risk and teaching them through a Whole Language Approach. I was the editor for the school paper for several terms
With the demands on students to demonstrate proficiency in writing on State Assessment Tests, my favorite subject was teaching creative writing. My instruction with students kept my own joy of writing alive and active. Then, following early retirement, I nurtured my dream of writing.
"Wall of Color" was my first published work, which was followed by "Conquered Heart", "When Justice is Served", "Impending Danger", 'Desperate Choices', and 'Violent Visions of Murder'. My next book, "Dark Depths of Love" will soon be released

 | Wall of Color by Jeanette Cooper Stunning Rosemarie Delrio should have wanted for nothing; yet, judged as a misfit and an outcast by the society from whom she carves acceptance, she is the epitome of loneness and need. Neither white, nor Negro, but a mixture of both, not even the early lessons learned from discrimination and racial slurs can toughen the sensitivity to living a life of rejection. Born as the offspring of two ethni...
