Not only is Jennifer LB Leese a mother of three from Maryland; she is a published author of several children’s fiction picture books, one young adult fantasy book, and a paranormal fiction novel. Leese also freelances children's non-fiction books for book distribution and packaging companies.
As a way of helping to promote other authors, she reviews children’s books for several online magazines. Jennifer works as a copyeditor for Writer’s Exchange E-Publishing, and freelances for individual authors and publishers.
She works as managing editor for a local newspaper in her hometown where she writes front-page community articles, as well as finding/writing articles, hiring writers, editing, formatting, and taking care of newspaper layout and the newspaper website. Her column, “It’s Only Ink! Children’s Book Reviews” is published in every issue (every Sunday) of the Picket News.
Jennifer lives in Maryland with her three children, Nicholas, Cameron, and Jordan, her husband, Thom, and their four dogs, Jezebel, Daisy, Lily, and Thorn. She volunteers at her children’s school weekly where she co-heads the PTA as Vice President. Jennifer likes to write, read, color with her children, play dolls with her daughter, take nature walks with her kids, and read bedtime stories to them every night.
