Jill Divine’s passion for books started from the day she learnt to read. From that day on her head was always in a book, and whilst other children were outside playing their imaginary games, Jill was inside with her head stuck in a book and visualising the story as it unfolded. As she grew up she had no desire to write, despite spending hours day dreaming and visualising stories, instead it was more fun to read about them. She started her working life as a secretary, but found it very unfulfilling and decided to study nursing as a new career. This was very enjoyable and satisfying, but to her disappointment had to give it up when she became ill. During this time she discovered that alternative health, spiritual healing and meditation helped and then trained as a Reiki healer. It was during meditation eighteen months ago that her passion for writing started, when she visualised an amazing story, that as it slowly unfolded and kept carrying on throughout the following meditations, she just knew she had to write it down to share with others. This was the start of a new career for her as she became inspired to carry on writing all the stories and films that she visualised. Since then she has written several books, film scripts, poetry and short stories. Her first science fiction novel, "Anjoy - God's Gifts", was released in May 2005 and has been widely reviewed. Her second book, also science fiction, "The Bears", (first in a series of five) will be release in October 2005. Through her love of writing, she hopes to inspire more people to become positive and bring love and light into the world.

(For release October 2005)The Bears, science-fiction novel, tells the story of spiritual aliens who need human auras to survive and change into bears to avoid capture, and then unwittingly take on their aggressive behaviour. The Happiness Show, (New York, White Plains cable television access 76)invited Jill to film herself talking about how smiling can raise the positive energy in the world and how if we started a Mexican wave of smiles, it may help to foster world peace. Jill will be seen starting this Mexican wave of smiles on The Happiness Show due to be aired in December 2005 and called 'Smiling In Public, and Jill Divine's Mexican Wave of Smiles.
