John Llewellyn has spent more than three decades in the cemetery and funeral industries. Since 1988, he has been president and chief executive officer of Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks and Mortuaries in Southern California. Widely acknowledged as an industry leader, he has been president of the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association and the Cemetery and Mortuary Association of California as well as being an officer and director of the Western Cemetery Alliance. Active in the community, John has served as a hospital, university, and foundation trustee. He served on the boards of directors of more than two dozen business and non-profit organizations. John Llewellyn is the author of Saying Goodbye Your Way and A Cemetery Should Be Forever. Each of these books has won critical aclaim from its target audience.
