Life brings many disappointments, grief, and sadness, but also cheer, happiness, and joy. Last year I decided to try and bring the latter to those around me through writing. Conveying my life experiences good and bad to others through the magic of the pen. Hoping that my writing will bring cheer, happiness, and joy while healing someone’s disappointments, grief, or sadness. Growing up in rural western Kentucky, my life was simple and formed with moral values that I still carry with me today. As I say daily, “Simple I am, simple I be, what you get is what you see. My love of nature and this country is stalwart as well as my family and friends. So my well has been uncapped and now it is time for me to draw and offer a refreshing drink to all who stop and have a thirst that needs to be quenched.
