I reside in Baltimore, MD with my lovely wife, Valory, where I work as a Network Administrator and Web Developer for a medical company.
I received my Masters Degree from Johns Hopkins University, and currently guest lecture in area schools on Information Theory.
I am also a concert pianist, an avid chess enthusiast, and a practitioner of jiu-jitsu.
My favorite fiction author (and the one whom I dare not emulate) is Samuel Delany.
However, you can get a feel for my major influences by checking out my top ten favorite fiction books:
Dune by Frank Herbert
Babel-17 by Samuel Delany (Needs to be a movie!)
Triton by Samuel Delany
Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand
The Gods Themselves by Isaac Asimov
The Great Divorce by C. S. Lewis (Mad bus ride though Hell and Heaven!)
State of Fear by Michael Crichton (Eco-terrorism!)
Solaris by Stanislaw Lem (NOT like the awful movie!)
The Futurological Congress by Stanislaw Lem (Psychotropic Comedy!)
Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein (Libertarian Treatise disguised as kick-butt action!)
