Background Information

As a poet I am influenced by all the poetry I read. I can give a few names: Octavio Paz, Nâzim Hikmet, Raymond Carver, Fernando Pessoa, Michael Ondaatje. As a playwright I am influenced by a course "scriptwriting" I followed in the 80's of last century.

I got a few awards for my poetry: Matthias Kemp Prize 1988, Pieter Geert Buckinx Prize 2005

Additional Information

My latest collection of poetry is "Altogether" (2005) and next year "Ninglinspo" will be published. My latest play is "The lament of Lawino" and next year it will be staged.
