Lived in an old, dark 19th century rectory. That may account for this book. And a few other things.

Background Information

Since childhood, Joe has been an avid reader. "The only thing I like better than reading," Joe says, "is writing. That is, once I get over the hurdle of composing that frightening first sentence." Joe's first novel, Memorandum of a Murder, was published several years ago. His writing has appeared in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine. His working career has been varied. In his later years, being a church secretary, living in a dark, rambling, nineteenth-century rectory, inspired Tales from the Wrecktory, published in 2002. The Bodies Out Back, a murder mystery in the classic cozy genre, was published as an ebook in June 2003. Two sequels to Bodies, Murders in Maris Cove, and Aisle of the Dead will be published later this year. The Remigrants, the story of those who come back from the grave, also an ebook, will be available in July 2003. Joe and his life partner of thirty-three years now live in Florida.

Additional Information

If you like Tales from the Wrecktory, and enjoy mysteries, you may want to read my Aisle of the Dead and The Bodies Out Back.
