My purpose in writing this book was to allow the children of this generation to understand about the POW/MIA issue so that these men and women heroes can be brought home to their waiting families.
A portion of the proceeds from this book go to benefit Rolling Thunder(R), Inc and the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

09/24/08: My book "Mommy, What Is A POW/MIA?" has just won the Gold Medal for Children's Military Books from the Military Writers Society of America.
This is a complete surprise to me and an Honor to be among the winners.

09/15/08: The Local VFW Chapter bought 13 books from me to pass them out this Friday to local schools for POW/MIA Remembrance Day. I am so happy that this book will be placed where this generation can read it and start learning about the sacrifices that were/are made to keep this country free Thank You VFW!
