Background

Retired disabled as a nurse and I worked as a paper carrier. I have had cancer three times which is the motivation for writing. I speak from experience. My first book that I had published was based on premonitions and a dream that I had. It is called The Twelfth Of Never. I am in the process of writing my fourth book. I enjoy mining for gemstones, reading, walking, quilting, making jewelry and my eight dogs. I have worked several occupations but working as a nurse and being an author is my favorite occupation. I had to retire from nursing because of cancer and a disabling accident in 1999. I come from a family of seven and I support Americans With Disabilites Act,The American Cancer Society our military and my church.

I recently started editing The Power and The Glory. I am editing my second book and applied for the copyright for If Ever I Would Leave You. which is in the series and is about cancer. My third is called The Dance which I will send out after my second book. I have planned a childrens's book and have a lot of ideas for other books based on real issues. I have a great deal of what it means to have cancer in the book ************************* I do my books in a series for example some of the main characters carry over. There are so many stories out there of the people that I have met in my walk on this earth. I consider myself blessed because had I not had cancer some of the people that I met would not have made a difference in my life. I often write articles for my local newspaper as letters to the editor and I look for other way to write about what I know. Editor's Choice Award for Funeral For A Hero. Nominated for Poet of The Year although I seriously doubt that I will win because of the extremely good talent here and elsewhere.
My dear husband has suggested that I start a book from here at the den to compile a book of my favorite poems and poetry to go in a book which I with all due respect to this site should be called http://www.authorsden.com/judytlloyd Poems Of Two Sides?
