Julia Nielsen has been writing for fifteen years and has completed four books and has published her first novel, Stepping out of the Dark, with Chipmunka publishing in London.Her and her father's much-anticipated first book in the YA series, The Crystal Locket: The Gateway to the Portals of Time--a book about time-traveling twins--will be released though Brushfire Press, fall of 2007! Stay tuned for a fascinating and intriguing journey through historical events in time!
Accomplishments: Julia has completed a course at The Institute of Children's Literature and she is a member of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs.
She has also written over 1000 articles both on-line and in print for national and international magazines, websites and the local paper.
She has won numerous on-line awards for her poetry and short stories.
