I am a reporter/photographer/circulation manager for a weekly news publication. I have been actively writing for seven years. My aspirations for my writing career is to become a published author in the non-fiction/self-help genre with my book, "Sandy's Storm". By publishing my book, it will help me to reach out to others who have suffered a life of abuse and neglect at the hands of others. I also aspire to become a motivational speaker. I am an active member of Panhandle Professional Writers, an honorary Lions Club member for my many contributions of entertainment for fundraising purposes, and I volunteer my time by speaking and writing publicity for local CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of the Texas Rolling Plains.

I was a finalist in Frontiers in Writing 2005 in the non-fiction book category, and was recipient of the Sales and Service Award in 1994 for Collingsworth County.

Motivational Speaking: Will speak to training advocates, professionals, club meetings, and other occasions regarding child abuse and neglect. Hale will also write articles and essays regarding child abuse and/or neglect and the importance of CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates. Will do interviews and radio talk shows. Hale's goal platform, the national epidemic of child abuse and neglect, is to educate the public and help change the lives of abused and neglected children.
