Although my background is fixed, present influences and motivations behind my writing, my art, my designs, my creative ideas, are in a constant state of flux (as is the entire universe) ... fixed points in my life can be found by visiting the Karl May Bookstore. Influences of the 'NOW' are manifold: international politics, economics, ethnic as well as ethical considerations, but most of all, guiding internal values that are continually evolving.

Accomplishments

In 2008, I became the first author to have translated (into English) and published the entire unabridged Winnetou trilogy from Karl May's last authorised version of 1909. It is the first English laguage edition of the unabridged trilogy as a homogeneous work by a single translator.
In 2008, I published the first English language biography of Karl May, one of the most enigmatic, successful and famous authors of nineteenth century Germany.
