Kate Loveday always had an interest in health, beauty and nutrition. In 1968 she graduated from the Madame Korner School in Sydney with a diploma in Beauty and Skin Therapy. I have always been a reader and had aspirations to write from an early age, but it was not until I retired from helping to run a family business that I was able to indulge this passion. Then my husband and I took three years to travel around our country in an RV. I found it easy to write about the places we visited and had several articles published. Then came the big test, to write a novel! I was inspired to do this by the beautiful and exotic tropical Far North Queensland, the setting for my first book 'Inheritance'a Romance/Mystery

During my working life I held qualification as a Beauty and Skin Therapist and ran my own company.
Since those days I have several travel articles published in Australian travel magazines including 'Caravan World'.

I am currently almost finished my second novel, 'Red Gold', which is set in the 1870's. It moves from England to Sydney to Bulahdelah, a timber cutting area.
