Since getting my book published, many new roads have opened up for me.
I was honored to be invited by the American Heart Association to be the keynote speaker at the American Stroke Association convention. It was held at Rutger's University on November 15th. It was a wonderful experience to meet and speak to caregivers, stroke survivors, and medical personnel. It was one of the highlights of my life!
I have also been involved with proofreading and writing for The Bright Side - Wings of Support http://www.the-bright-side.org.
One of my articles, Caregiver Stress, was published in Today's Caregiver magazine (Jan/Feb 2006)

I recently learned that a national caregiver organization reviewed "Your Mother has Suffered a Slight Stroke" in their winter newsletter, UPDATE. The Familily Caregiver Alliance is a wonderful resource for caregivers. Their website is: www.caregiver.org. The review will soon be posted on their website as well.
