I create characters that are just as real as I can make them and then drop in a paranormal element my characters can't ignore.
In addition to a physical threat, my novels all contain a heavy dose of psychological tension. Before my heros can save the day, I force them to look deep inside themselves and find their best, putting the heart in HORROR WITH HEART.
