Welcome to my AuthorsDen site. Please feel free to click on my blog (or go to inlandechoes.blogspot.com) to catch up on my calculated analysis and often spur of the moment rantings on politics, religion, and other issues that confront all of us. I am also proud of my first published book, Chavez Ravine Echoes. Echoes is the compelling story about the forced removal of thousands of Chavez Ravine residents from their Los Angeles community in the 1950's. Unfortunately, with the passage of time, the memory of this tragic episode is fading. Although many blame the LA Dodgers for the destruction of the mainly Mexican-American neighborhoods, the truth is more complex. Written from the viewpoint of two present day Dodger employees (a ball player and a front office staffer), the novel attempts to introduce the reader to a story that calls out for attention and modern redemption. My twin passions - follwing baseball and supporting social justice - have combined to create what I hope you will find an exciting and informative read.
Accomplishments: 25 years in California's middle schools - now that in and of itself should get me an award!!!
