I enjoy the challenge of presenting fictional solutions to highly publicized issues. Call me naive.

I grew up in the Bronx, NY. Attended Cardinal Hayes HS, graduated from Manhattan College in 1954, and served two years in Army. My wife, Betty, and I have 4 children and 9 grandkids. Upon retirement as CEO of a NYC Insurance Company in 1997,  we moved from Morristown, NJ to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.

I looked forward to the Hardy Boys series just as kids today long for more Harry Potter.

A stint as president of a local Jaycees chapter in the mid-sixties led to library activities and  meeting authors of all genres.

At age 72 I became active in critique groups and writers organizations. The transition from business report writing was less difficult  due to valuable critiques. I wanted to weave strong characters into unending real problems, with a twist to a solution. For example, the Israeli-Palestinian problem; the anti-organized religions of the Nazis in a contemporary setting (In Honor of Justice); and the political polarization inside the Beltway.  My third novel,The Atkinsen Ticket , is a timely political drama, depicting honor in politics.

My current project concerns an army veteran who returns from Iraq with what apprears to be a PTSD condition. The protagonist is a compulsive do-gooder, a modern day, believable Don Quixote.
