My main focus as a non-fiction writer is on articles, blogs, and books geared towards the health condition called Fibromyalgia.  In late 2005 I was diagnosed with this dibilitating illness that causes wide spread muscle pain and fatigue and vowed to help as many other sufferers as I could with useful information and tips to help cope with the disease.  My works cover every topic on the subject including caregiving, children, relationships, exercise, and recipes.

My fiction genres are focused mainly on short stories, novels, and poetry.  I write under the pen name Amanda Kimberley.  Though this genre is mainly ficticious, some of my recent female characters are plagued with a chronic condition.  I have worked this aspect of illness into some characters to show their strength, as well as the commonality of chronic conditions.

I reside in Connecticut and am surrounded by beloved family, friends, and pets.  My favorite hobbies and interests include crocheting, gardening, hiking, yoga, and gaming.  I'm also a big wrestling fan.
