Life has served me some challenges, but I overcame them through prayer, hard work and determination. I’ve been writing poetry since I was in high school. Writing is such a freeing art form; it has allowed me to spout my truths and my “Kim-isms”. “Kim-isms” are my twist on things. Sometimes they are simply sayings that I make up or acronyms with hidden meanings either way they normally fall into three groups. They either get your thinking or they get you to laugh or both. How To Love Your Kids More Than You Hate That Man is not about my individual journey. Every step I took God helped me and my children accompanied me, and their growth was and is my strength and my sustaining peace.
