I am a woman, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a daughter, a sister, a friend to everyone I love. A survivor of the foster care system in the 1950s and teenage single parenthood in the late 1960s, I have learned much. I credit a firm belief in Almighty God for seeing me through the fire and helping me weather the storm.
